Israeli Minister Amichai Shikli Exposes Syrian Regime's Jihadist Agenda on X (formerly Twitter)

Israeli Minister for Diaspora Affairs, Amichai Shikli, recently published a series of tweets in English on his X (formerly Twitter) account, sharply criticizing the newly-established Syrian regime under the leadership of Al-Jolani. Shikli's tweets expose the jihadist and brutal nature of Al-Jolani and his regime, which has long been a part of the Syrian conflict’s darker side.

While Al-Jolani works to portray a positive, Western-friendly image of his regime to the international community, Shikli chose to highlight the atrocities and horrors perpetrated by the Syrian government under Al-Jolani's rule. This is not the first time Shikli has taken a firm stance on this matter, using his platform to bring attention to the ongoing human rights violations that continue to unfold in Syria.

In his tweets, the Diaspora Minister drew on various investigative reports and in-depth research, much of which was originally uncovered by The Jewish Voice and published by our investigative team in our platform. These findings emphasize the deeply entrenched jihadist agenda and the violent tactics used by Al-Jolani’s regime to maintain control over the country.

Shikli's decision to shed light on these issues is particularly critical in the context of the ongoing atrocities against the Druze community in Syria. The brutal repression, murders, and violence targeting Druze civilians underscore the dangerous nature of Al-Jolani's rule. As Israel and other Western nations contemplate potential diplomatic engagements with the Syrian regime, Shikli’s revelations serve as a stark reminder of the dire consequences of normalizing relations with a regime responsible for such horrific acts of violence.
