On Friday night, residents of Havat Omer near the community of Mevo’ot Yericho identified a breach in the fence of their date palm grove. The gap was large enough to allow cars to pass through.
The residents called the IDF to report the breach, and a military patrol arrived along with a special tracking force. The trackers found a path and the military followed the path to a house in the Arab village of Uja. The soldiers further found that the footprints on the path matched the shoes of owner of the home. The IDF took the owner’s personal details and released him with only a warning.
The incident was quite an ordinary one where Arab perpetrators were released with a mere warning. However, moments later, the police received a report from an Israeli anarchist activist claiming that Jewish hilltop youth from Havat Omer were harassing Arab children in Uja.
The army rejected the accusation and reported that it was a military force that arrived at the house after tracking a path from the cut in the fence back to the house. The security forces viewed the incident as over.

Yet, it turns out that the anarchist report, like all recent reports of this sort, was forwarded to senior commanders, to the U.S., and to other international representatives. None of these entities bothered checking the facts, and thus another incident supporting the narrative of "settler violence" was born. President Biden is fully engaged with this narrative and his involvement is seen on the ground with additional administrative detention and distancing orders being filed against Jewish residents, and weapons of Jews being confiscated.
Hakol HaYehudi also received reports that on Friday Bedouin children in the unauthorized village of Maarajat near Mevo’ot Yericho received high-end tablets, likely with funds from the European Union, in order to record activities of IDF forces and Jewish residents in the region.
